CHO is the easy one. It is close, it is small, and you can be curbside minutes after leaving the house — which is exactly why the ride matters less for distance and more for timing.
From most of Charlottesville the airport is a ten to fifteen minute run up Route 29 and Airport Road. From Crozet or Waynesboro, allow half an hour. The terminal is small enough that arriving forty-five minutes before a domestic departure is usually comfortable, though the first flights of the morning draw a queue at the single security lane.
Because the trip is short, this is the run rideshare is least interested in at five in the morning. A booked car does not weigh whether the fare is worth getting up for.
Arrivals at CHO are quick — a short walk from the gate to the door, and bags come off fast. We meet you at the terminal entrance rather than circling, and if your inbound connection through Charlotte or Philadelphia runs late, the flight number tells us before you do.
Plenty of CHO arrivals are onward trips rather than trips home: the Downtown Mall hotels, the Grounds, the hospital, or straight out to a winery. We will take you wherever the day is going.
Tell us the trip and we will come back with a flat price, usually within fifteen minutes. Nothing is charged when you book.
