UVA Medical Center draws patients from across Virginia and beyond. Some arrive by plane, some drive in from three counties away, and almost all of them would rather not be thinking about parking.
We run to the main hospital on Lee Street, the Emily Couric Clinical Cancer Center, the Battle Building, and the outpatient sites at Pantops and Northridge. Early appointment times are routine — a seven o'clock check-in means a pickup before most services in town are moving.
For discharges, the difficulty is that the time is never quite known in advance. Call when you have a window and we will work with it rather than holding you to a booking made two days earlier.
When someone is admitted, relatives often fly into Richmond or Charlottesville at short notice and at awkward hours. Those are exactly the trips that are hardest to arrange on demand and the ones where nobody has spare attention for logistics.
Give us the flight and the hospital, and the rest is handled. Repeat trips — daily visits during a long admission, or a course of treatment with regular appointments — can be set up once and simply repeated.
Tell us the trip and we will come back with a flat price, usually within fifteen minutes. Nothing is charged when you book.
