Ruckersville sits at the junction of Route 29 and Route 33, fifteen minutes north of Charlottesville and the first real stop on the drive toward Northern Virginia. That makes it the natural jumping-off point for Dulles.
Charlottesville airport is fifteen minutes south, which makes CHO unusually convenient from here. Dulles is around an hour and three quarters straight up Route 29 through Madison, Culpeper, and Warrenton — a drive we make often enough to know exactly where the road slows.
Pickups cover the Route 29 corridor, Stanardsville and the Greene County roads toward the mountains, and the neighbourhoods off Route 33 toward Barboursville.
Greene County is rural enough that an arriving flight at ten at night presents a real problem for on-demand services. The distance is not extreme, but the empty return leg is, and drivers decline accordingly.
Booked in advance, the car is simply there. We also run the shorter local trips: the hospital in Charlottesville, the Amtrak station, and the Barboursville vineyards a few minutes east.
Tell us the trip and we will come back with a flat price, usually within fifteen minutes. Nothing is charged when you book.
